Great hospitality, small rooms, but very clean. A great stay to go on a citytrip to London.
Rekation price/quality was quite bad.
location close to city center
really small rooms, no good ventilation,
the location is good and the cleanliness is acceptable. if you are on budget travel, this is an acceptable choice.
the room is way too small for 2 adults to stay in a double-bed room. we can barely fit our 2 medium size luggages in the room, and with extreme limited space to move around (we need to give way to each other when trying to walk around in the room). you will be facing right towards the washing basin when you are sitting on the toilet bowl!
Room was tiny, there is no lounge, internet only available sitting on steps of tiny reception hall or windowless breakfast room
The desk staff were friendly and helpful, and, to their credit, slightly apologetic. That's the only positive thing to say - see negatives below.
I have stayed in many inexpensive hotels in and around London over the last few years - this was the worst I've ever come across as regards state of repair and cleanliness. The sheets didn't fit the bed, and the state of the mattress (which was, therefore, visible) was more than a little off-putting. Also, I am used to ensuite bathrooms in London hotels being small, but this one was truly ridiculous. I would not stay there again if you paid me. Is that a clear enough NON-recommendation? I do hope so.
Even if I try hard it is very difficult to say anything good about this hotel. The central position is the only thing I can think about.
Poor value for money, rooms are small and dirty (mould everywhere. Blood on the sheets). Staff members are not helpful. Room was not cleaned in the morning. The breakfast is ridiculous. don't go to this hotel
Staff was quite helpful, shower was good, towels were changed daily and they offered a light breakfast which consisted of coffee, tea, juice, cereal or toast.
Room was very small and a bit dusty, it almost seemed as if it was built around the bed, however there was room for a suitcase and we were only there to sleep and shower. before putting clothes on the surface in the wardrobe we had to thouroghly wipine them down.
Small but clean room, perfect location. close to tube and walking distans to many sites. Hyde park 5 minutes away. Good budget option for a city weekend filled with on the town experience when you need a hotel for sleeping only.
The hotel was clean, there was a basic breakfast (not cooked) very reasonable for London. Staff were friendly.
The room was very small.
the location was excellent, loads of restaurants, pubs, shops on the street / close by. Tube was 3 mins walk & brought u to Oxford Circle etc in roughly 10-15mins. Taxi home from Leicester Sq was £14 at night. Hyde Park is across the road. A great stay for weekend sight-seeing & city breaks.
it is small so only ideal for 2-3 nights. We (3 girls in their 20s ) just about fit comfortably into the family room, using the extra bed for our (check-in sized) luggage to sit on. Otherwise we would have no-where to put it. Not a problem if you have limited luggage & not going on a huge shopping trip. However, this is not a downside if you genuinely won't be spending much time in your room & are using it only as a base for your trip.
